iPhone and last.fm - how do I scrobble?

iPhone and last.fm - how do I scrobble?
I used to use mobilescrobbler, but I'm not jailbreaking my 3G just yet, so need another solution. I've heard that the official last.fm client will work with the iPhone, but I'll be damned if I can get it to work !

Anyone got it working, or another solution?
