oh so for iphone o2 contract users it's 'free'? i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that they would start charging for it after a while but im not sure

It's currently free to use on a iPhone tariff.

Currently, the only App that I've seen on the App Store to have more than 2 reviews and still have a perfect rating (last I saw, it was up to 22 reviews).

I've looked on there web site a few weeks ago and it said something about
each time you use Shazam if it recognises your song then you are charged 50pence.

I'm not sure of the exact prices however you can pay something like £2 per month for 10 downloads or £5 per month for unlimited usage. Obviously you'd need to register with their site and give them your bank details etc.

I got the impression that they are letting everyone use it for free and for people who use their facility alot then they'll stop the service and ask them to pay for it. Seems fair I suppose.
