Ive noticed on ebay that iphones bought in italy are sold as unlocked... i am goign to greece next weekend, does anyone know how they are sold in greece? And also if the language on the phone can be changed to english?

Its 499 euros and 569 euros for the 16gb, Yes language can be changed, I assume again its on first come first served basis as has been for all countries

Apparently, same applies to Italy - local law states they must be sold unlocked to any sim... I must admit I am interested in seeing if one will work with my T-Mobile UK sim, and still let me use all the iPhone features, especially the 3G internet using my T-Mobile web n walk connection....

Bare in mind that Apple here in the UK will not honour the warranty on foreign iPhones. If anything goes wrong with the phone during the warranty period you will most likely have to pay for the repair or replacement.

I believe so although you may want to clarify with Apple. Each country's phones are only supposed to be sold and used there and not anywhere else. As far as I know the warranty is only valid in the country of origin.
