Re: Btmail with iphone 3g

move to gmail - 30 seconds to set up. Just put an auto forward on your BT account.

Gmail is the best web mail i've found

www.gmail.com

I can't help, I am afraid, but my @btinternet.com email address worked straight away, just by following the standard Yahoo set up.

Have you tried deleting it and starting again?

good luck with that, i've never got mail to work on any phone (except a blackberry.)

If you do manage to get it work then post the solution, I was an IT engineer for 10 years and as i say i never got it to work. Its all pop and stmp settings.

your call its your mail. Gmail works like a dream.

good luck.

Re: Btmail with iphone 3g

I have a btinternet.com email addres too and works perfectly woth my 3g iphone. I just followed the instructions and it worked. Try going into your

settings > mail

Then look at the top and see if your email address is written there. If it is click on it then check to make sure account is on at the top and make sure all details are filled in inlcuding your password. I would double check your password.

make sure your SMTP sever is yahoo!

Hope it works for ya
