Safari issues!

For some reason when i try to open a web page using safari the page will not load and i get this message

"Safari connot open the web page as the server timed out"

I contacted 02 and they told me to reset the network settings. Yes this works for a short time but the propblem keeps reacuring and is becoming annoying!

Anyone else had the same problem?

Re: Safari issues!

I was having problems on 3g all day yesterday. Pages just wouldn't load. Switched 3g off and pages would load on gprs.

I think it was an o2 problem with 3g. There was a thread on the o2 forums yesterday with similar complaints. It's been fine today though

Re: Safari issues!

you're not alone with these problems, I've had similar messages too. Either the reset you mentioned or a soft iPhone reset seems to solve it for me.

Re: Safari issues!

I've had similar problems too, I get the same message as you, and I also get the kcferror error 302 message.

It's infuriating at times, but now, when it happens, I clear history and cache, then switch off for a few minutes. It needs sorting though cause it's a pita.

Smile Re: Safari issues!

All seems to be good today. Think your right saying that there was a problem with the network. Seems silly that 02 had no idea of this and suggested my phone go for repair! What a waste of time that would have been. But all is good today so I'm happy.

Re: Safari issues!

Just had this problem, turned phone off and back on and all ok.

Got me wondering though - my bro has an iphone and he has noticed that his email push stops working if he has made a call on the phone. My internet went off after i received a call......probably putting 1 + 1 together and getting 3 though.......

Shall keep an eye on it, hadn't used the internet before the call, so could be rubbish.
