Thumbs up So what has impressed you most about the iPhone?

Have to say im new to iphone and to apple(not keen on the later till now)

The hybrid maps while you travel(not to mention tapping on a contacts address takes you to there visually in maps! ), apps, great touch screen and accelerometer make the iphone fantastic. But for me the biggest "WOW" i got from the iPhone has to be the phone calls! its so clear. I had a k700i, XDA exec, countless nokias before and numerous landline phones. all of them were muffled but the iphone is so crystal clear that its like the person is stood next to you talking!

have to say im chuffed, i didnt think i would bother using the iPhone as a phone as im used to my clunky XDA which was a pain for calls. but the fact its so good as a phone and i get 1200 minutes a month. im gonna make alot more calls on my iPhone!

i've never really liked apple, but after ive seen how free flowing the iPhone is and looking at the OSX Leopard video. i think theyve made serious inroads into bringing apple products to my attention

Re: So what has impressed you most about the iPhone?

I whole-heartedly agree, its been a while since i have been so excited and impressed by a mobile phone.
The speed of google maps and the accuracy of pin-pointing my position is seriously great. I've been trying to get a suitable mapping tool on the P1i for ages but this has just blown it to bits.
The internet browsing is on a different planet to what SE have to offer, the zoom and scan with the pinch functions are simply mind-blowing.
I really need a SKYPE app so i can call my brother in Finland for nothing, i know it's only a matter of time with the quantity of Apps hitting itunes on a daily basis.
I hope i'm not the only one who just "flicks" his album art to the left and right as pure therapy!!

Re: So what has impressed you most about the iPhone?

Ease of use. Its not that the iPhone does things that other phones cant do - its the ease that it does it. For example, have you tried setting up google mail? Try getting gmail to work on a standard mobile - its al pop settings and smtp settings. on the iPhone it user name and password and then it just works

I dont think there is a phone on the planet that can touch it right now its the best thing out there. Oh and its the the only phone ever that Mrs D has ever expressed a preferance for, she had NEVER commented on a mobile before and it took me half and hour to get it off her when she first looked at it.
