3rd Party App sites

Seen a few posts about people not upgrading to new firmware because of the 3rd party apps they have installed, I presume these are apps installed from somewhere other than itunes store?

Can anyone recommend any sites and are they safe? I do seem to think that if you get apps from itunes they are going to be 100% safe.

cheers

Re: 3rd Party App sites

Brooce the only current way to get 3rd party apps is to Jailbreak your phone using pwnage and install Cydia which is an installer program.

Instructions are in the Unlocking threads.
