Lost Music on iPhone

Lost Music on iPhone

I've had a quick search through this forum but didn't find anything about lost music.

I downloaded an album from iTunes to the iPhone last week but since then it has disappeared! It was definitely there after I purchased it as it was in the album list (and album roll). Since then it has gone. It's no-where to be found on my computer either. I clicked on the 'report a problem' icon on iTunes order history but haven't heard anything from them (do they normally email you?).

I'm not paying to download it again and I don't think I'll ever use it again (not via the phone if it can't be trusted. Items I've downloaded to the PC from iTunes are still there.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I deleted a couple of songs last week by accident.

I reported it and got a reply within a couple of hours telling me to go to the store tab at the top of itunes and click 'check for purchases'. It then redownloaded them.

Where did you hit the 'report a problem' button??

If you do it on your main purchase page, nothing gets done. Go into the actual purchase order/date and click report a problem for 1 of the songs from the album, fill in the problem and say that the whole album has gone [saves having to report same problem for every track].

Thanks for your reply.

I click on the report a problem in the purchase history - I click on the arrow to the left of the purchase which takes me to the downloaded items then click on the 'report a problem' button but all that happens is the button disappears. I don't get the option to type any info in.

Maybe I didn't do it the way you specified so I'll try it tonight.
