Iphone 3g issues

Hi

Having a couple of issues with my iphone, first up is the wi fi. Currently have all my computers and consoles running off my wireless router and internet works fine on all in all the house.

When I pick up my phone the wi fi symbol is displayed but once i get using the internet it drops off from my wi fi onto the box with a dot in it, which i think is GPRS. So concequently I cannot connect to youtube or itunes and its reallllllly slow!

Anyone know whats going on!?

Also, all my applications are crashing and i have to keep deleting them and reinstalling them as when i tap on them they open up and then close down straight away?!

I really wanna love this phone but its almost on its way back to the shop..

Any input much appreciaited

cheers

Re: Iphone 3g issues

Is it a ballache resetting it, as in does itunes stay the same so all you have to do it press sync as its as it was before? Or will I have to go through picking all the vids and songs I want on it again?

Yeah this wi fi thing is wierd, cant find any info on it and tried all the obvious things. Have to see whats its like at a different address or try someone elses on this wi fi..

If you mean restore then it will restore the iPhone using the last back up that was done. So everything will be as according to that. Resetting is different altogether and done directly on the iPhone.
