iPhone costs

A freind has just been asking me advice about which iPhone contract works out best...... Now I've sat down and worked it out im surprised at the price difference between the £35 and £45 a month contract..... anyway quoted is what I wrote in the email to him..... hope it helps people thinking about buying one.

Quote:
If you get the £35 a month contract it costs you £169 + 18 months @ £35 a month which adds up to £799 in total.

If you get the £45 a month contract it costs you £69 + 18 months @ £45 a month which adds up to £879

However what im doing is I paid £69 on the £45 a month contract (cus I couldn’t afford £169 at the time) and then after 9 months im switching down to £35…… this equals £789….. it’s the cheapest option short term and long term.

Re: iPhone costs

o2 insurance is for mugs.... cpw insurance is for complete idiots.

the cost of a replacement o2 handset is £410.....o2 have anounced if you have a contract you can buy a replacement handset at that price.... as standard my house insurance covers me for theft or damage of anything on my person up to £2000, with no limit on the price of each individual item as long as it costs less than 2 grand...... and trust me my iphone and wallet is worth a lot less than £2000

Re: iPhone costs

With the 02 iPhone contracts, am I right in thinking that unlimited data means I could be walking down the road and log onto BBC sport and check the football scores free of charge? Or is it only free when you're connected via WiFi?

It is unlimited as it states. This includes the use of GPRS, Edge and 3G as well not just wi-fi.
