3G display "off centre"

Hi

I upgraded to a 3g from the 2 g recently and have noticed on the handset i have that the display (screen) has a slight gap on the left (1 or 2 mm) and top sides. You can only really notice it when you look at the display in bright sunlight. This is not the case on my 2g model so i am wondering if this is a manufactuing defect. It does not affect functionality as far as i can can tell but now that i have noticed it it is bugging me. Anyone else seen this. i have not seen any other posts on it in this forum but i did find some here

Mine has a slight gap all the way around (so not "off centre") but I presume its supposed to be like that.

I had the 2G version but can't remember if it was the same or not.
