Hi Everyone,

Hope someone can help me, new to the iPhone so complete noob!!

I have the 8GB phone, non 3G.

I have a O2 Pay as you go simm and want to unlock the phone so I can use it.

What would I use to do this???

Think you can just put your 02 payg sim in and it will work.

Thats what I was told but it did not seem to work.

I have been on iTunes and it asked me to restore the software?? So I have done this

When you connect your iphone to itunes it should say a newer version of software is available. just download this and then press the update button.

I have now managed to install V2 and get it working as Pay as you go.
