Hi all!

Well sold my iphone before and thought id call the number and the bloke who must have bought it answered. So i guess i need to ring o2 and get my number cancelled etc.

Whats the best number to contact them on regarding this? The numbers on the o2 website all seem to have a closing time of 9pm... there must be an emergency number i can ring!

Also why is this number still active on my phone? I totally wiped everything using various guides on the net!

When you sold your phone you should have kept your sim card as this has your number etc on it or cancelled your account.
You need to contact O2 first thing to sort it.

Well when i bought an iphone i previously had an N95 and still have the sim card for that.. same number etc as i just transferred that onto my iphone when i first set it up! Thing is i dont want o2 to actually do something to block the iphone ive just sold so it makes it unusable for the buyer if you catch my drift!

I left my sim card in the iphone!! Im talking to the guy via msn now.. god i feel like smacking myself across the face with a wet salmon!

Yes I catch, your drift you need the number allocating to another sim card.Get a replacement sim from O2 and put it on that,
I have gone from payg to contract to payg and orange said that I had lost my number as the gap between changing was too long All sorted now tho' so make sure you dont let that happen.

Guy i sold it to is dropping my iphone sim card off tomorrow so all sorted!
