iphone keyboard - how easy is it to use?

I tend to send a fair few texts, in fact traditionally ive loved blackberrys because I find the full qwerty keyboards absolutely fantastic. I tried an iphone in an o2 store today as im due an upgrade, and I found the on screen touch keyboard absolutely apalling! Very hit and miss (mostly miss).

The phone obviously has many fans, im just wondering whether this aspect of it improves over time (e.g. will i get used to it?)

Id say so yes!

When i first got my iphone i kept hitting the wrong letters, pressing space by accident so it auto fills a suggested word etc.

Couple of weeks later i was sending lengthy texts in seconds! These days im a true pro!

I'd say its very easy I'm using it now. I don't worry if I hit the wrong letter as the phone guesses what word you wanted to spell & just pops it in for you. Its very easy to get the hang of

I found it hard at first but after a few days you soon get really used to it.

Re: iphone keyboard - how easy is it to use?

as other have said it works very, very well, its faster than any normal phone I have used for texting. two best tips are to ignore little mistakes and watch as the phone corrects them for you and make sure you use the soft pad of your finger rather than trying to be too precise and use a corner or a fingernail. basically, the more deliberate and precise you try to be the slower and worse your typing will be.
