Hi all,

Does anyone know how to switch off or change the sound when sending a txt ?

Hi,

go to settings - sounds - new text message - then choose a new tone or "none".

if you mean the tone after you send a message, Im not sure, maybe easiest to flick the silence switch and then set it back once ur done.

Thats the tone I mean keep flicking the silence switch is a hassle though there must be some setting for it somewhere, anyone

Sorry mate, if you look in the same part of the settings where u can change the tone, there is an option further down for a sent message tone. if you turn that off, im sure that will solve your problems!

Not on the wife's, there is a setting for mail but not text.
The phone is running 1.1.4
