I've got great confidence in their customer services. was sent replacement 3gs by next day delivery after my original started cracking, then aranged free courier to return the old handset at my convenience (after i'd got the new one synced it charged it etc)
Good idea and the rate is still 4% but it doesn't include the iPad so guessing it will probably exclude the 4g as well.

This must be the worst kept secret in Apples history.
The paranoid conspiracy theorist inside me suggests Apple are leaking bits now to try and build some hype, after the Gizmodo leak stole their thunder. The hype and rumour machine has worked well for Apple in the past, a lot of people have suggest some leaks over the years were planned PR.

Probably not true though.

I much prefer the hard edges compared to the rounded 3G

Those pictures look great, but it's what it can do that will really count. I just hope it is as good as we all hope it is.

I second that looks far more serious a device - hopefully specs to match

At least if it does have a flat back I will be able to text when its on my desk without it rocking as per my old 3g

I'm warming to the design a bit if those shots are a true representation.

I've also come to think that a flat back is a very good idea. All those impressive but pretty useless spirit level app's will finally come into their own

I'm not sure it will be as nice to hold though.

+1. The flat back gives a new dimension. A business phone. Seriousness with quality.

An Orange iPhone will not work with a T-Mobile SIM, because the phone remains SIM locked to Orange. However, there is a slim chance that if Everything Everywhere have done a deal with Apple to sell the new iPhone, then it could be available to use on both Orange and T-Mobile. I doubt the new iPhone will be sold unlocked either, as this would be a departure for Apple (strictly speaking, all iPhones are sold unlocked, the SIM lock is applied at the time of activation when Apple's database is checked for which network sold the phone).

Having bought the iPad I think there is little doubt I'll be buying the next iPhone now. My house should be painted white and finished in glass with the amount of Apple products in it now, the Apple ownership experience is a very good and addictive one.

My iPad is now my casual web browsing, media consuming, news reading and office assistant... My Macbook is for more heavy duty tasks or extended typing... My Mac Mini is a media server for the iPad and Apple TV (plus Squeezebox)... I now need another iPhone as a mobile, media player and mobile organiser for more 'everyday' use.

I think I have a problem...

Chances are it will follow the current 3GS pricing.

The merger will mean that Orange SIMs will be able to 'roam' onto the T-Mobile network and vice versa. It will be done in stages over the next 6-12 months I believe with consumers at a different time from Business customers. It is still therefore most unlikely that you will be able to use an Orange SIM in a T-Mobile device and vice versa.

I've one concern - any chance the T-Mobile FUP will reduce ? currently 3gb for Android I think - not sure about Iphone - but certainly for Android its a lot higher than Orange FUP

"My name is Rob and I'm an Appaholic, it's been 12 months since my last WWDC."

I think you can buy a counselling course for an upfront fee of £179 then £30 pm for 18 months. This entitles you to 300 mins of counselling and unlimited use of their website. (I'm not helping here am I)!! 2 days left to go.

Sounds like you're working on a similar project to the one I'm working on
