3GS Movie transfer from DVD ??? HOW

This may have bee covered but I'm after a program, maybe 2;

1. To rip a dvd I have ( not pirated )
currently i was using anydvd but my licence expired, not £80 odd quid for full licence.

2. these VOB files are individual files based on the individual chapters. hmm

3. Link these files into 1 file so as to play eventually on iphone

4. conversion to M4V compatable with iphone.
again I can use Super, a program which converts apparently "anything to anything" including adjustment of picture format.

Again, this is only for DVD's I have but want to watch on the go I have no intention to get involved in piracy.

I highly recommend Prism Video converter which converts video to iPhone format (mpeg4). You can try it for 14 days before buying.

I've always used the software mentioned in these step by step instructions to do it, DVD Decrypter and DVD43 to rip the DVD then Videora to convert it:-
DVD to MP4 | How To Convert A DVD to iPod (MP4)

Used it loads and no issues and also used Videora for converting other video files for use on the phone just following the instructions starting at the point after you have ripped the file.

I use Avex DVD to iPhone which retails at $29 online and is downloadable. It is an expense but there is no lag and audio sync and quality is excellent, it also does avi, divx, etc. Never fails and been using it for three years. There are free ones out there but not sure of the quality.

I do... though not specifically for the iPhone (so not using Handbrake's iPhone profile.)

I ripped my DVDs to MP4 to watch them on my HTPC, and these file work perfectly well on my 3GS.
