buzzing noise when making calls

Has anyone come across this? I had a look on google and found this has been a issue for a few poeple but have not heard of anything that can fix it? (no one replyed to the treads)

Anyway the last week or so when i make a call i get whats like a buzzing noise in my ear, the noise is like the noise you would get when i phone is about to ring when its near a speaker..

Just wondering if anyone has came across this problem before and if so how did they fix it.

I got the phone 2nd hand month or two ago been working fine up until this point..

also to add am almost sure i hear it making the same noise last night when i was lying in my bed lol, its really does not look to be getting any better..

thanks upfront for any help or advise you can give me on the matter.

Steve

Yep, had the same problem develop over the past month. I have an iPhone 3G, roughly 11.5 months old. Took mine to an Apple Genius bar last weekend and they had no issue switching it to a refurbished one, and the problem has gone. The chap did mention some rubbish about quality drops due to higher compression on the network, but he was quite happy to try the exchange anyway!
