Adding specific albums to iPhone

I have just added all the music on my computer into the iTunes library. I have lots of the same artists and their different albums. My problem is when I try to sync a specific album. Take The Beatles for example I have all of their albums but when I go to sync just one I cant as they are all listed as The Beatles under Artists on the music sync page.

How do I change this, so i can add individual albums?

Personally I just create a playlist with all the albums that I want on my iphone. I then just sync the one playlist.

No idea, one radical solution is to just use iTunes for iPhone syncing, and another program like Windows Media Player or winamp for PC playing

Well i seem to have found a way round it (not the best so still open to ideas) basically if i go into my music library and search for the Beatles (as an example) I have to unselect all the tracks/albums I don’t want to sync. As I said its not ideal as it’s a bit long winded but seems to do the job.

Another way, again not ideal, is to just highlight the tracks on the album and drag them into the music section of the iphone! That's how I did it, now I'm having trouble with photos

You know you can do multiple selections with Shift and Ctrl don't you - then just Sync ticked ('checked' ) tracks.

Yea that’s what i did. Just clicked on the first track of the album then held shift and selected the last track, all others in-between are then automatically selected for you

Once your Iphone is connected you can actually choose which things to sync and which not. I have an Ipod Touch and it syncs certain photo albums, apps, and podcasts, but I've set the Music and Video to manual. This means that when I plug it in, it backs up, it updates my apps with any new purchases, and then it stops.

To add music or video I find the album, artist, or film in itunes, and I drag it to the Ipod Touch Icon on the left hand side.

Simple. Effective. Bob is my Uncle!

I think to do this you need to have 'Manually manage music on iphone' selected. Then it is just a case of dragging whichever albums / songs you want into the iphone music folder.
