Hi all,

I've recently upgraded to the iPhone 3Gs and am loving it, anyway my question is, is there a way to show how many characters you've used while composing a text message?

not a far as i know mate. you have raised a good question tho if you write a long message on the iphone it shows as one text but on most other hand sets it would be two or three text.

with that said how many text does it cost you to send that long text. one like the iphone shows you or three like it would on any other phone

It costs you one text for every 160 characters. On a non jail broken iPhone, there is no way to see how many characters you have written. Maybe the next big Apple update will fix this?

Cheers for that guys, maybe I see how many text messages I send next month and then if need be upgrade to Unlimited Text messages Package.

Hi,

when in the text message screen, you'll see the option to 'edit' at the top right of the screen, click that and at the bottom of the next screen you have the options to 'delete' or 'forward' messages.
