Guys

I have a 16GB 3G, jailbroken and unlocked on 3.1.2. I was playing an mp3 earlier today through the phone speakers and noticed that I am only getting sound through one of the speakers on the base of the phone.

I tested it on the ringtones as well, covering one speaker then the other and one definitely isn't producing any sound. Is this correct or a fault? If it is a fault do you think it is worth a visit to the Apple store? I am up in London on Wednesday so could pop in. Would I need to do a restore to clear off the jailbreak and unlock?

If you go, take a balaclava to cover your red face when you find out that one of those 'speakers' is a speaker and one is a microphone.

Excellent Glad I checked here first, the heat from my face would have speeded up global warming dramatically
