Hi Guys

the past couple of days my phone has randomly showing that there isnt a SIM inserted

i have so far just turned it off and then back on - which corrected the error

i jast now have turned it on / off 6 times with the phone still saying NO SIM

anyone ani ideas why or how to fix .

i just done what i really ought to have done first, take the SIM out and put it back in.

this has worked for no.

If it happens again either phone your operator and get a new sim sent out or rubt he chip with your fingers to clean it a bit.

sometimes the retaining clip for the SIM can be loose and stop a decent contact from occurring. I don't have an iphone so im not sure what type it uses but if the SIM just slides in under a metal band you could always slide it in with a thin sliver of paper on the back of the SIM to give a tighter fit. I used to have this same issue on my old Motorola V3 and it worked like a charm.
