Show SMS Preview Option Missing ?

Just upgraded to a 3GS and was looking for the option to turn off SMS preview on the home screen. I am sure it was on my previous 3G but I can't find it.

It is supposed to be in

Settings - General - Passcode Lock - Show SMS Preview (turn to off)

but it isn't there.

Has this option been removed / moved ? Am I going mad ?
