Unlock Iphone 3G on 3.1.2 with 05.11.07 Baseband

Hi guys,

I have recently purchased a 2nd hand iphone 3g and am having trouble unlocking it.

It was updated to 3.1.2 when i bought it and assumed (after having a quick look) that the jailbreak and install of yellow snow (or similar) would have meant i could use my T-Mobile sim card in it.

After jail breaking it and following some experts tips, i have now found that when iphones are upgraded to 3.1.2 firmware that the base band will automatically upgrade to 05.11.07 which, clever apple have stopped people unlocking their phones.

Im assuming that there will be an unlock option available at some stage as there always is but does anyone know when this may be?

Can anyone point me to a website that i can monitor on a daily basis to keep my eye out for an unlock?

Any help would be very much appreciated,

This is already being discussed in great depth in the Unlocking sub forum, closing.
