Syncing ,HELP!

Hi guys,
i recently bought a second hand 3gs and sucessfully synced it with my existing itunes libary,which was previously synced with my 3g.
However when i now try to add/delete songs it will only sync bookmarks and nothing else.I have made sure all of the obvious sync boxes are ticked and have now no idea as to why it won't add or delete as requeted.
This seems to be the case with both 3g and 3gs phones

Really don't want to restore the phone as its currently jailbroken and unlocked.

Any idea's guys?

you sure you don't have manage manually turned on for music?

Hi,
yeah,if tried it sync manually and automatically,no joy.

It would be fine to sync two different iphones(one 3g the other 3gs) to the same itunes libary won't it?I don't have to change any of the settings or anything do i?
