Iphone Messages

Since Saturday a lot of my text message have failed to send. I have an iPhone 3G on O2. Never been unlocked or jailbroken etc. Anyone know why this keeps happening. I have had signal at time of sending.

Also most other phones I've had will put such messages in an outbox and tried to send them later, can I get the iPhone to do this?

Re: Iphone Messages

It should give a little exclamation mark next to the message warning you it hasnt sent. Tap on that to get the option to resend.

Other phones I've had keep trying to resend automatically rather than having to do so oneself.

I really dont understand why Apple didn't include a auto-resend from the off, seems like such a basic function. What do people think are the chances it will be included in a future update? Are there any apps which will automatically resend failed messages?
