Re: Home screens

I know you can go past the 11 screens BUT what you have on those screens will not be visibile. The only way to access them is to use Spotlight to search for whats on there.

I have 4 1/2 pages and feel like I could lose some apps..how the hell can you fill up 11 pages???

Re: Home screens

The iPhone home screen needs serious work, it's terrible compared to android etc. Once you get more than 3 screens it becomes a real pain. I have 5 now, did get to 6 but it did my head in. I hope the next update addresses this.

you dont need to use the screens.

just go to spotlight and tap the first few letters up it pops. you dont need to go through 8 screens to get what you want.

It would be good if it continued rotating, i.e. when at screen 1 swipe right to spotlight then again for the last screen.

Thanks, but TBH it's easier and quicker to swipe across. For example, to find the calculator i had to press the home key twice then type 'cal' (three more button presses) only be be shown a load of contacts because contacts are prioritised in spotlight. Then scroll down and select calculator.

What would help would having the dots that indicate which screen you are on slightly larger and selectable. I also agree the screens should loop.

Ultimately though, folders would help, i wonder why Apple avoided this approach. Maybe it did not anticipate people installing so many apps follow the success of the app store.

fair point although it is a sign of our "fat over weight lazy i want it now society" that pressing 4 keys is too much effort (that not a dig its just a sign of the times) and 4 keys is these than swiping multiple times to get to screen 11

and alex wash your mouth out for suggesting spring jumps what a totally gash app that it is.
