Basically it won't open at all. Says;

'the file itunes library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes'

Has happened since I downloaded the newer version. I have googled this so i'm not a total lazy bast! But there's just so much conflicting advice I hoped someone here could help.

Whilst not the same problem as yours, any problem with iTunes refusing to open has only one solution.
