Hello,

Looking to get an iphone, just wondering if anyone had a 3g version then went to the 3gs version? I have heard that the 3gs version hasnt got great coverage and its worth sticking to the 3g version. Obviosuly doing this will save me relative £££!

"Coverage" has nothing to do with it

3GS is a 3G with an optional 32gb capacity, compass, faster processor, more ram, voice control.

And reception / signal strength that isn't as good!

I use to use the 3g version but recently went to the 3gs. Reception is not a problem.

Performance wise, the 3gs is just much faster and i would never go back.

As far as i am aware the coverage is exactly the same, go for whichever one you can afford!!

As said above, the coverage has no effect whatsoever from the 3G to 3GS.

Same as bonchai. Went from 3G to 3Gs and the speed difference is very noticeable and i'd never go back to the 3G now

Reception has been the same too

My bad i meant speed not coverage, i was posting elsewhere and got my two posts mixed up! Thanks for this guys, only problem is the cost, anyone know of any plans to go better than 3gs? I might hold out otherwise!
