Looking for an iphone

Haven't been following the iphone so the 3gs means nothing to me lol. I basically want the cheapest one as i won't be using the more powerful features. How much am i looking at & where's the best place to buy second hand? Ebay? Avforums? (if i can get in there first)

Thanks.

I wouldn't bother with the 2G so if your not interested in the 3GS then the 3G is for you. They're for sale everywhere too as most people are upgrading from the 3G to 3GS, have a look on here.. loads of them!

Thanks a lot. I've been checking the phone classifieds but people pick them up real quick. Will keep my eyes open.

Don't rush into buying one though...

Like I said, loads around so wait for the better deals. Ive seen a fair few brand new ones (apple replacements) up for sale so obviously they'll be in better condition etc etc. If they're going too quickly post a wanted thread, you'll have endless people offering!! I'll be sticking my 3G up for sale very soon too

Re: Looking for an iphone

I won't need anywhere near that much so will probably go for a 8GB.

Re: Looking for an iphone

Btw, is there any difference to the size of the Gens? Is the 2g bigger then the 3gs?

Thanks.

Even if i don't use the powerful features, it's still got loads of apps i want to use.

Btw, can someone help with sim cards please. I just read you can get simcards with unlimited internet usage without topping up, where would i get one of these from please?

Thanks.

Why on earth not?

Good phone App, good contact management, good messaging interface, good calendar and good notes. So even if you use only the basics, it's still well worth considering.

Then there is the excellent iPod interface for media.
The Mail app is good.
Safari is great.

And that's not even considering putting extra Apps on it.

You don't have to use every single option and feature to get benefit from it.
