Ok so something came over me today, i am paying £20 a month for the simplicity tariff with a pay as you go 3GS.

I own a O2 loyalty card which enables me to recieve 30% off monthly bills, however this is not included on the simplicity tariffs or the iphone 3GS's.

However, it IS included on the 8gig 3G's. Now it is my understanding that the closest tariff to the simplicity one i have at the moment is the one that is £34.26 a month. With the loyalty discount this comes to £24 a month, which is only £4 more than i am paying at the moment for the simplicity.

My question is, firstly, am i missing something here or does this all sound too good to be true? and obviously secondly, what is the availability like for the 8gig 3G's at the moment? i am thinking of cancelling my simplicity and going straight for the 8gig, then transfer the sim i get with the 3G into my 3GS, and use the 3G as a pay as you go phone.

if this is correct, i cannot believe i didnt think of this whilst i was taking out the simplicity tariff. luckily i am only doing it on a monthly basis and can cancel anytime too!

am i able to order it over the phone and have them deliver the 8gig 3G? or do i have to do it in the shop?
