Its going great but if i leave it sit for a while and hit the home button, the phone does noting for 4 or 5 seconds !!!

Anyone any ideas ????

i had the same problem so did a clean install and a few restores to see if it was software but still did it so booked a genius appointment and turns out the home button was faulty so they replaced the screen in turn new home button and its perfect

A restart a few times seems to have helped altho I would not fancy having too do this too often !!!

Take it back for an refund or exchange if a restore don't work.

A genius bar appointment will either repair it or exchange for a refurb, but since you just bought yours, you have 14 days from receipt for a refund or exchange for another brand new one.
