No iplayer from cloud

Hi all

Ive had my 3gs for around a month now and very happy with it but have a few issues with the free wi fi.

Its a pay as you go phone so ive already registered with cloud and receive wi fi no problem well i do at mcdonalds but i think its free anyway

My only issue is i cant seem to get iplayer from cloud it works on my home network and ive also had it working in costa coffee

Any of you with the same fault, i thought at first maybe mcdonalds have put a limit on there wi fi ????

Ive attached a pic of what happens (the little play icon but with a line through it)

Thanks Nathan

Ive had the same. Must say I have never looked to see if it was the same for everyone as I was only trying it out. Soon deleted iPlayer when I realised it want possible to watch it over 3G.

Re: No iplayer from cloud

Are you sure it's not just the particular program you're trying to watch that is not working or is it definitely all programs?

When I'm connected to my home wifi, it seems a few programs on iPlayer have the line through the play icon as shown above, whereas others work fine. Wondered whether some are in a format not supported on iPhone, though that seems unlikely as I would have thought iPlayer uses the same format for everything?

Re: No iplayer from cloud

I can confirm that the iplayer was also disabled for me as well on the cloud wifi in mcdonalds on my 3gs. I can only assume they have somehow disabled it on purpose the bastids
