iPhone says I have no Data plan yet I do...

Hey guys,

Lately I have been not able to get internet for a couple of months, I had jailbroken before but I don't think I changed anything although when I jailbroke I lost service for a while, I also installed Navigon so IDK if that caused the issue.

I have since un-jailbroke and it is still having internet issues, as far as I can tell I still have the free internet that you get from O2 when you first buy your iPhone (I got a text the other day saying the activated month 10, how of curiosity how long do I get it free?)

Anyone able to help?

Oh I am on Pay&Go BTW.

Have you changed the APN settings to the PAYG settings? It explains the need to do so on the O2 website.

Out of the box all iPhones are set to the iPhone contract setting of idata.o2.co.uk - even if they are bought on PAYG

I have had it as idata since I got it, but I'll see if that works.

idata only works on the iPhone contracts, it wont work at all on PAYG.
