Hi

Will be ordering my 3GS 16gb from Apple online next week on O2 PAYG which i believe comes with a 14 day return policy. I will be buying it mainly for 3G internet and will test the 3G signal with the supplied o2 sim card (of course will have to top up with £10) and failing that I will try a 3 sim card (after unlocking it). Now if i'm still not satisfied with 3G speeds on both sim cards, will i be able to return it to Apple? Or will the fact that i have already activated the supplied O2 PAYG sim card mean that i can't return it under the 14 day return policy? Of course i shall make sure the phone is in pristine condition if i do send it back.

I called Apple with the very same question. I was told that the 14 day return timeframe is applicable whether the phone is used or not. You should be okay with testing the phone out.

Sorry but one other question; when you receive the iphone from Apple online, does it come in a sealed box? I ask this because from my experience Carphonewarehouse usually sell you new phones in unsealed boxes.
