Sync 13001 Error

Hadn't used my iPhone for a week (1g 8Gb, latest firmware and iTunes).

fired it up and tried to synch up with iTunes and got the "Could not synch, unknown problem error code 13001"

Had a trawl about to find a solution but nothing helping so far.

Anyone got any ideas?
