DVD Software

I have just bought a DVD which I want to put on my iphone.

When I explore the DVD it has two folders, audio which is empty and Video which has things in it.

How do I get these files into one folder, say DIVX so I can then convert it to the correct iphone settings? Also is there any free software to do this?

If I can get the Audio and Several Video folders into one file I can sort the rest but dont knwo how to do it.,
