I've been having a minor but annoying problem with my iPhone - constant stuttering. It stutters on everything, texting, games, swiping from page to page on the menu - everything stutters every 2 seconds!

Anyway, it seemed like an app trying to connect to something so I erased my iPhone completely and restored backup. Same problem. Next move was to delete all my apps and that seemed to have work, but only for a day.

Now, I turned the Airplane Mode ON this afternoon and it cleared the problem straight away! No restarts, springboard reset etc, just turned it on and stuttering was completely gone! I took airplane mode off and put WiFi on just to check if it was that and it didn't change anything. Also tried the Notifications & tried turning 3G on and off as well but to no avail.

Would anyone be able to help me sort out this problem please?

is the phone jailbreaked, and unlocked ?. I noticed a problem like yours when I used ultrasn0w on my 3g

Yes it is, with ultrasn0w as well. Currently using 3.0.1 firmware.

have you loaded any updates to ultrasn0w, since the 1st time you ran it. The other thing to consider as a restore to the normal firmware and see if the issue still exists, but don't think it will

Thank you for the tips. I've had the stutter problem about two weeks ago, weeks after the 3.0 + ultrasn0w combo. It might be an app running on the BG sending out information. I've tried turning off location services and that hasn't done anything either.
