Tried speedtest app on my 3Gs, got 10.75 Mbps download , is that right has anybody else got that ?. I suppose the real question is what would you use it for.

Connected through WiFi that sounds normal. I get just under 10 connected to my 10mb cable service.
You have a good upload speed though!

You do know what wifi is, right?

Up: 199 kbps

Roughly equivalent to a low-end ADSL line

Edge
Down: 13kbps
Up: 3kbps

Roughly equivalent to an old ISDN line but faster than a 56k modem!

yep, but the wifi is only as fast as the slowest device, didnt think iphone's where capable of supporting that throughput, never seen it that high on my 2G/3G before. Wondered if something had changed in the 3Gs model

i dont ever get over 800kbps using 3G....

Wifi no problem 9/10mbps

This speedtest.net app seems a lot more accurate as over wifi i am getting pretty close if not the same as my normal net speed.

Using 'speed check' (another app) was very inaccurate and was showing 60% less than what i am (and should be) getting.
