Hi, i have a 32gb 3gs, occasionally when wake it up out of stand by the display is really dull and won't sort itself out unless i lock it again, let it go into stand by & wake it up, anyone else had this?

Mine does this too, it will correct its self, but can take 5-7 seconds to do so.

Do you have a screen cover on it? Mine is clean, so shouldnt affect the sensors which I belive are in the top left corner.
