Tried doing a search on here, but can't find anything. My JB/UL 3gs is currently running OS 3.0, but itunes is telling me 3.01 is available should I update or not and if i do are there any precautions i should take?
Finally what are the advantages/disadvantages of 3.01

You can do it, but will need to jailbreak again, selecting a 3.0 firmware in redsn0w rather than a 3.1

3.01 just fixes some text issues. thats it, theres also a carrier update aswell that comes later that you may/may not have.
