I've just received a replacement iPhone from O2 as the silent button broke of mine the other day. I could be imagining things but I'm sure the old one on the back had Iphone 3G, the new one just has iPhone.

Am I imagining things?

It's only the iPhone 3G (and 3GS) that come with a black plastic back, correct?

My old one says iPhone only so must be the imagination.

If the new one does not say 3G then you have been given a free upgrade to a 3gs......

Yeah had a look this morning, but I couldn't see any "real" photos, ie people actually holding them, just "Catalogue pictures"

Definitely not a 3GS, no video recording, voice control or compass

OK well the 3GS back has the memory size immediately beneath the the word iphone then the designed by and made in at the bottom. I think the back for the 3g has the designed by and made in beneath the iphone name and then the size of memory at the bottom.
