Can someone help me out here, when I bought my Iphone It came with Favorite place sim card,and I bought £10 airtime.

I am a little unclear as to the terms of this package, on the o2 website it says, When you first get your iPhone, it'll be on Favourite Place. It gives you unlimited¹ calls to UK landlines and O2 mobiles from any postcode you choose

It then says Downloading data costs £3 a MB

Could someone explain Favorite place in simple terms, I just dont understand the details on the o2 website.

I will be using this phone hardly ever as a phone, so I dont want to be forced to spend x amount of £££s a month to keep the phone operational.

Favourite Place tariff will give you free web and wifi for 12 months...

"When you buy a new iPhone from us, we'll give you 12 months of unlimited* web and Wi-Fi. It's called the O2 Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On, and you'll be able to keep it at the end of the 12 months for £10 a month if you like. We'll let you know when it's time."

I havent got one yet but I would assume this was an automatic bolt on?

Wasn't it mentioned at all when you bought it, if purchased instore?

Am I right in thinking it will cost me £3 a mb if I download something using 3G ?

No, not for the first 12 months. It says free web (3G, Edge, GPRS) for 12 months, then you have to subscribe for £10 a month.

Ok, If after 12 months I decide to carry on and pay £10 a mth does that include downloads to the phone using 3g? if so whats this £3 per mb all about? thanks

If you continue with the Web & Wifi that is £10 a month after the first year or you can get a bolt on just for the free Web & that is £7 a month for unlimited web access.
