Smile Looking for a simple app to upload /download video recordings

Hi guys I am looking for an app or service that I can use to upload/download video recordings which will add them back to camera roll. I dont use wifi as my network is wired

I have registered the free trial of mobileme to get the idisk function but could not download from that so I installed the quickoffice app and that lets you download from the idisk, but I have no idea where it downloads to.

This all came about from transfering original video recordings back to the iphone which did not work at all, they just go under the ipod function of videos but not available in camera roll to send

There must be a way to do this

think the quickoffice app saves files into its "own space" rather than a system location.

Are u planning on using 3G to download the videos, as you dont have wifi ?.

Also have you jailbroken your iphone. ?

From what I have seen, think its not possible, pictures work fine but not videos. But if your phone is jailbroken and had wifi, then you could transfer files back.

Hi bradmill that's correct I'll be using 3g only. My phone is not jailbroken. I don't think I'll be going down that route just yet. Maybe when I feel comfortable in doing so. Spend best part of a day looking for an app no luck!

Now I am on a lookout for an app similar to the one called private as that can restore images back to the camera roll, but alas no video support

what kind of videos? you tube?

if so jailbreak the phone and download MX tube (or there is another app that integrates with the native you tube app.)

Or i could be barking up the wrong tree as its early.

Hi Gary the videos in question are simply video recordings taken using the phone.

Off topic If I could hide videos and photos and be able to send them back to camera roll to send that would be the a result. I have tried vault and folder apps but they add files and do not let you send them back to camera roll or photo library to send to others. Now the private app lets you store the images, delete them from camera roll. They are stored elsewhere but should you decide to send a picture to somebody I can just by exporting the file back. Now if that had a video option I would be verry happy
