Is this phone still available in any stores or only the 8gb version I am able to get 30% off through work but 02 won't give discount on the 3gs models. Bummer!!

Apple do them, as do o2 but only over the phone, and i've got a feeling cpw do them too but not entirely sure on that one. Apple also give them out when your iphone bites the dust and you have to go to the store to get them replaced, them new phones you thought you were getting as replacements were actually refurbed models! But refurbs in some ways are better than the originals because they have been extensively tested, and are fitted with new front and back shells so you can hardly tell there refurbs without looking at the serial numbers.

So can anyone buy them? My contract ends in a few weeks and I was going to go onto simplicity and buy and iphone. If I can buy a refurb 16gb 3g that would be great!

I've just phoned o2 and have been told they do not sell refurbs. I spoke to a lady in retentions.

They most definitely do! Ask to be put forward to someone competent or ask at the apple store. I do not know what there policy is though after the release of the iphone 3gs.
