Just wondering if it's worth waiting for 3.1 firmware to come out, save me having to do it all again in a month or whenever it comes out?

I wont be doing it get. I'll wait to 3.1 i'm not worried, if i think anything untoward is happening with my device i'll do it, but I'm in no rush.

Wish I hadn't bothered. Completely locked up my phone. Ended up having to install iTunes on a different PC and doing a restore which wiped everything. Lost a load of photos and text messages but relieved to have got it working again.

I have had nightmare after nightmare doing this today, if i had known that i had not needed to bother it would have saved a lot of hassle and swearing!!!

Still not 100% sure if i'm sorted yet, i've now done at least 3 restores plus 2 failed attempts to re jailbreak.

Now on my 3rd and i'll let you know the outcome, probably divorce!!!

Bad luck Jerry, you should always be careful with a jailbroken phone. I dont move untill the Dev team do. and even then i wait to see what experiance other people have.
