Getting New iPhone in Aug

If everything goes ok,I should be getting a iphone at the end of Aug
What I would like to know is, when I receive the phone should I

1. Charge it fully via the mains and then register/sync it with itunes on my PC
or
2. Connect it to my PC straight out of the box and register it/sync it with itunes, disconnect it from the PC, then fully charge it via the mains.
or
3. Connect it to my PC straight out of the box and register it/sync it with itunes and leave it connected to my PC until fully charged.

Which would you suggest?

Thanks

Mick

I doubt it'll make any difference. I plugged it staight into my pc, activated it and set it up on itunes then plugged it into the mains for a full charge.

From flat it'll take around an hour for a full charge via the mains, probably around 2 hours via USB.

Re: Getting New iPhone in Aug

Only recommendation seems to be at some point early on give it a few full charge / rn down cycles and then try to do that atleast once a month - early doors it doesn't apparently matter with these type of batteries!
