HELP driving me nuts

HELP driving me nuts

Hi

I have a jb 32gb 3gs the problem i am having is blank book marks keep on apearing on my spring board and I cant get rid of them it is driving me crazy every time i delete them them just reappear

any one got any ideas as when I install apps they dont show up on the sp but show as installed in the app store

I have the same problem, and its transfered from my 3g to 3gs ... not happy, and I haven't even Jailbroke my 3gs!!!

Ive found that backing up and restoring made no difference. Even upgrading to the latest version of software didnt change anything! However, I think I may have just finally discovered the solution!

Using iPhonebrowser or i-Funbox, navigate to User > Library > Webclips.

Within this folder you should have a load of subfolders called blank1, blank2... etc. Within each of these subfolders you should have two files, a blank icon and another file which is the link information. Delete these two files from each of the folders, reboot the iPhone and 'voila' the blank links should be gone!

I know this is a slightly old thread but I thought it might be useful if anyone is searching in future! HTH
