iTunes problem..US Store account

I was about to purchase Beejive when I thought "Lets see how much I have in my US account"
Sure enough, according to the little box next to my username I saw I had $10.57 .
Went to buy Beejive, but it says I have insufficient balance? Whats going on?? If I purchase anything esle to try it out I wont be able to afford Beejive as the cheapest app is 99cents and Beejive is $9.99
