No Skype with Iphone ???!

There are ways.

Jailbreak and a Cydia app that fools the phone into thinking 3G is wifi.

Yep I know but 'out of the box' it should be...so it's skype not the network not allowing usage ?

Don't 3 have a special Skype setup? Something that most other providers don't have. So it's not really O2's fault.

It comes down to the fact that Three invested billions in 3G infrastructure but don't have any customers, they have mass amounts of bandwidth that isn't being used. They might as well let people do what they like across 3G to win some customers.

O2 have lots of customers and the best phones...

I don't know too many options...this jailbreaking has to be flawed with future firmware updates does'nt it ?

I wonder if I say brought an unlocked 3GS couild I then use skype on 3 with my SIM IN the iphone ?? Would I be able to use all the apps as with 02 or not ? ie no limitations with net access apps store etc ?
